Group Classes: Jan 10 – Jun 5
For Spring 2022, Abrons Arts Center is very excited to be offering in-person group classes in Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Dance, and more! For our spring semester we are offering even more sessions and students will participate in a public presentation to showcase their newly gained talents and skills at the end of the semester.
Group class settings allow students to expand their talents, awaken new ones and work collaboratively with their peers in a fun and enriched setting. Classes are taught by leading artist-teachers that develop courses that expand students’ capabilities and result in students building both confidence and friendships.
Abrons is pleased to announce the continuation of our NYCHA Arts Initiative program which gives greater access to our community and their ability to enroll in group classes this Spring. Learn more about this exciting program as well as additional tuition assistance options below!

NYCHA Arts Initiative

Please note, ALL students taking class (regardless of tuition assistance status) will be required to pay a $25 student registration fee.
All persons who are eligible to be vaccinated, aged 12 years and older, must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to be onsite. This means that 14 days have passed since your final dose of an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine
Valid forms of proof of vaccination include: Vaccination card, photo of vaccination card that clearly show your name and dates of vaccination with matching photo ID, the NYC COVID Safe app, or the NYS Excelsior Pass
Parent Vaccination Policy
All students requiring supervision must be accompanied by a vaccinated chaperon for pick up and drop off from Abrons classes. In the event that a parent/guardian is unvaccinated and not permitted to enter the building, the student must be joined by another vaccinated adult for pick up and drop off, and all other activities in the Abrons Arts Center building. Abrons Arts Center staff is not responsible for chaperoning students from the lobby to classrooms.
Vaccination policy for children under the age of 12 years old
Abrons recognizes the changing landscape and protocols of vaccination policies for children under the age of 12 and we will be responsive to these changes as city, state and DOE mandates evolve. At this time, children under the age of 12 years old do not have to show proof of vaccination but must wear masks while on site.
