Acting introduces the fundamentals of improvisational theater. Through theater games and the development of short scenes, learners will build confidence, teamwork, and their technical acting skills.
Schedule
Summer workshops take place Monday–Friday, August 4–15.
Ages 8–12: 4pm
Ages 13–18: 5pm
Ages 19+: 6pm
About Liz Livingston
Liz Livingston is a theater artist specializing in education and new works. She enjoys creating unique educational experiences for organizations such as Abrons Arts Center, TogetherHood, Funny Girls, Columbia Teachers College, and the YMCA. In addition to her work in the theater, Liz is the lead writer at Mindful Nation, Live Nation's in-house meditation program, and co-founded "YogaPiano" to combine the healing potential of yoga and music. She holds an MFA in Acting from ART at Harvard University.
