Artist to Artist Convening

Join the School of Making Thinking and Abrons Arts Center for the Artist to Artist Convening. This is a peer-led space for interdisciplinary artists, sound and performance makers, writers, cultural workers, and activists to connect and experience each other’s creative practices. Throughout the evening, you will see presentations and performances from the following Fall 2026 Artist to Artist courses:

Extraction, Color, Trade facilitated by Megumi Shauna Arai
Without Permission: Performing in the Streets facilitated by Gianfranco Reyes
All My Ancestors are Transgender: How to Create a Chosen Family Archive facilitated by Kenny Shiloh Russell
Pop That @ The Edge of the World facilitated by Joy Norton + Kiki Mills

Refreshments will be provided. This gathering is free and open to all.

Artist to Artist is a class series in partnership with Abrons Arts Center and The School of Making Thinking. In addition to our Group Classes and Private Lessons, we’re excited to offer several short-term workshops. These workshops are designed for those wanting to gain new skills and knowledge in an interactive and supportive environment.
