Pocket's Change
Hip Hop FinFest Volume 5: Collective Care is Self Care

November 6, 2026
6:00pm

This year’s theme is Collective Care is Self Care. It’s all about how we care for our family, friends, and community, how they care for us, and how that reciprocity is a form of self care. You don’t need to be a savior in your community, you are a member of your community.

Join us to celebrate this year's finalists, get inspired to deepen your relationship with money, and party with us!

Schedule:
Opening Reception with light appetizers, drinks, and sponsor tables: 6-7pm
Hip Hop FinFest concert: 7-9pm

Pockets Change

Pockets Change's mission is to build generational financial well-being with youth using the arts, Hip Hop, and neuroscience to uplift their lived experiences and hold space for joy and creative expression so they can grow in their financial journeys. Pockets Change teaches youth workshops, professional development and training for educators, licenses a year-long online curriculum, and holds an annual youth song contest and community concert called Hip Hop FinFest. We envision a world where healing-centered education, creative expression, and collective care are inseparable from financial well-being. Pockets Change has reached over 24,700 youth nationwide. In 2025, we taught 2,680 students across 39 organizations, trained 527 educators, and hosted a sold-out FinFest at Abrons Arts Center last year.
