The W.O.W. Project
From Chinatown, With Love

January 14, 2023

For the fourth annual From Chinatown, With Love, Abrons Arts Center and The W.OW. Project celebrate Lunar New Year with hand-crafted charms that support small businesses in Manhattan’s Chinatown.

Beginning on January 14, 2023, patrons who spend $25 or more will receive a one page calendar. Patrons who spend $45 or more will also receive a free, limited-edition charm. The participating businesses include Kopitiam, Wen Wah Co., TLB Trading Co., EWA Trading Co., and Spongies. Each of these businesses engaged in the making of 100 charms bringing good fortune and protection for the Year of the Water Rabbit.

A celebratory procession will begin on Saturday, January 14, at 12pm at Abrons Arts Center (466 Grand Street). The procession will travel to each of the participating businesses and end at The WOW Project Inc. (26 Mott St) at 3pm.
