The Garden Steward Team at Abrons is revitalizing the garden at Abrons, now known as the Living Studio, in the form of a series of community work days throughout the Summer & Fall of 2019. The team have been remediating the garden by adding new soil, planting perennial, medicinal, pollinating, and native plants, establishing a small bokashi compost setup, and will be installing a geodesic dome greenhouse in the garden this August. The Garden Steward Team will have ongoing drop-in days between July 1–November 10 on weekdays from 11am-7pm and some weekend days from 11am-5pm. We ask for volunteers to let us know before they plan on coming in so we can make sure one of our staff is here to facilitate the ongoing garden tasks we have happening.
