Vado Diomande and Kotchegna Dance Company welcome Ivory Coast All-Stars to a celebration of Ivory Coast dance and drums, featuring group dances, mask dances, songs and drum displays in a return to the stage after the pandemic. Begun after surviving natural anthrax in 2006, Vado leads a corps of performers in village traditions from over 60 different ethnic groups of Ivory Coast. ABOUT Kotchegna Dance Company was founded by Vado Diomande to offer the rich and dynamic village dance and drum traditions of over 60 different ethnicities from Ivory Coast to all people - to learn, dance, share, and enjoy.
