Parent Artist Relief Fund
Abrons Arts Center is pleased to announce the launch of our Parent Artist Relief Fund to support NYC-based parent artists in our local community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to the many uncertainties presented by COVID-19, we are unable to host our Parent Artist AIRspace Residency this summer. In light of this, together with The Sustainable Arts Foundation, we have decided to transition the residency funds into an emergency relief fund for artists with children. We are pleased to be able to offer some cash relief resources during these challenging times.
We will disburse $500 to 6 parent-artists with children in grade school (K-12) or younger. We will be capping the number of applications at 15 and evaluating the applications based on need.
Please email Katherine Tom (they/them) at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns.
