Associate Director of Development and Communications

Position Overview:

  • Type: Full time, regular,
  • Pay: exempt; salaried; $80,000
  • Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; at least 3-4 days per week on average onsite at Abrons Art Center in the Lower East Side.
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week; 10:00am – 6:00pm; flexibility needed for some night and weekend work (for events)

Description of Role:

A new position within the organization, the Associate Director of Development and Communications, Visual and Performing Arts, will have the opportunity to build development strategies and systems as we work to expand our individual giving, corporate and foundation portfolios. Reporting to the Vice President of Visual and Performing Arts, this position will work closely with the Henry Street Settlement’s development team and Abrons’ programming staff while spearheading fundraising and communications strategies for the Arts Center.
