Introducing Skedda

All bookings from April 1st onwards will be with Skedda!

Spring is soon approaching. In the spirit of transition, we’re excited to officially announce that we are switching over to a new scheduling system for studio rentals! Skedda is easier to navigate, faster to book space, and you can subscribe to your own personal space bookings calendar if you would like to have your bookings automatically added to your calendar!

As you may know, we were running into many issues with our current system, and we are looking forward to offering a smoother experience of access to Abrons’ spaces for our community.

Your registration happens when you make your first booking.

Here are some key things to note about this switch:

  • All bookings for March will still be on Nexudus
  • In Skedda, booking availability will no longer be ‘released’ at specific intervals. You will always be able to book up to 60 days in advance.
  • Bookings will not be charged when you reserve the space. We will charge all studio rentals at the top of the day of your booking or up to three days in advance. Bookings still, however, cannot be canceled less than 72 hours in advance.
  • All valid refunds will be handled by our Studio and Theater Rentals Manager, Maassai Collier, who can be reached at [email protected]. Please ensure that refunds are valid (cancellation was made at least 72 hours in advance) before sending the request to Maassai.
  • If you have monetary or time credit on Nexudus, let us know! We are not able to give you credit on the new system, but we can book an equivalent amount of free space for you.

For our Dance/NYC and NYSCA grantees:

Once you book space with Skedda, please let us know the email address you have used to register so that we can give you access to your discounted rates in the new system. If you are a movement-based artist and are interested in applying for subsidized studio rentals, please see our website HERE!

Thank you so much for working with us as we commence this transition! Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
