Please use this link to reserve space for a studio rental. Prior to booking your rental, we ask that you read our updated health and safety protocol below.
Abrons Arts Center is resuming on-site studio rentals effective Monday, November 2. Studios 1, 2, 3, and G05 will be available for use. We have implemented various protocols and procedures to ensure the protection of all individuals passing through our doors. Please help us all stay safe by abiding by our community agreements. Social distancing measures have changed the way we rent studios so please read all of the very important information below.
To best meet the needs of the artistic community during this challenging time, we’ve lowered rental rates for all studios to $10/hour.
Please use this link to reserve space for a studio rental. You’ll need to sign up for an account and book directly through the platform. Note that all rentals must be made 48 hours in advance. Additionally, we have a one hour buffer between rentals to allow the studios to be cleaned.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the capacity for each studio is one person per room.
Entry to Building
The front desk has moved from the ground level to the first level. The entry is at the top of the amphitheater steps. Please make sure to ring the doorbell on the ground level. A patron services team member will meet you at the amphitheater door to take your temperature and ask you to complete a covid-19 screening questionnaire. All renters are required to have their temperature taken and fill out the COVID-19 questionnaire every time they are on site. If you have accessibility needs, ring the bell on the ground level and a staff member will escort you to our accessible entrance. Please note that only studios G05, 206, and 314 are accessible by wheelchair.
While in Studio/Building
Appropriate face covers must be worn at all times, including during rehearsals. Gaiters and bandanas are not considered appropriate face coverings. Any staff member may enter the studio during your rehearsal to ensure that masks are being worn. For woodwind/horn players renting space, you must keep the window in the room open at all times while in the space. No guests/visitors are allowed. Renters are encouraged to utilize the outdoor amphitheater for eating and/or congregating. Please do not roam around the building or use any space other than your dedicated studio.
Access to Restrooms
Please use the restroom closest to your studio. Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer. Please do not roam around the building.
Studios will be staffed with disinfecting spray and wipes. We ask that you please spray the studio with disinfecting spray and wipe any surfaces you touched.
We are living in a rapidly changing environment, as such these guidelines are subject to change. If necessary, reservations may need to be adjusted and a staff member will contact you.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Studiorentals@henrystreet.org.
