Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche will confer the the Pema Tse Nyingtik empowerment. This is part of a cycle of discovered teachings by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. An empowerment (wang in Tibetan) is a Tibetan Buddhist ceremony that empowers the student to follow a particular practice. Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche is the grandson and spiritual heir of the late, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, one of the foremost Tibetan Buddhist masters of the 20th century. Born in 1967, Rabjam Rinpoche began receiving teachings at the age of three from his revered grandfather and today holds and transmits this unbroken lineage to his students. Rinpoche is the seventh in the line of the Rabjam succession and abbot of Shechen Monastery. Rinpoche embodies the authentic Tibetan Buddhist tradition with a modern view and approach.


Shechen/Dilgo Khyentse Fellowship is a non-profit organization that supports cultural and spiritual activities in Nepal, Bhutan, and India.
