From The Ruins: Artistic Process & Exhibition Spaces

In conjunction with Building the Neverending Ruin of the World, Juanli Carrión’s culled an experimental e-text from the e-mail conversation between exhibition producers Jonathan Durham, Adrian Geraldo Saldaña, Maia Murphy, Allison Weisberg and Juanli Carrión. Revolving around Juanli’s project, “The Journey” is a conversation about the artistic process, addressing the roles of artists, exhibition spaces, institutions and curators, and their respective relationships with each other.

From the Ruins: Artistic Process and Exhibition Spaces is a panel discussion to continue the dialogue begun in the email text “The Journey,” welcoming new participants and audience members to the conversation.

Building the Neverending Ruin of the World is a performance project in progress at Abrons as part of the exhibition Parts and Labor.

The artist is present in the Abrons Gallery developing the project on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., through December 8.
