Artist Community Relief Fund

As we have reached the max capacity of applications, we are currently unable to accept more applications for our Relief Fund at this time. Please sign up for our Relief Fund Mailing List and we will notify you if more funds become available.

Abrons Arts Center and Henry Street Settlement are pleased to announce the second round of our Artist Community Relief Fund to support artists and arts workers in our local community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will disburse $250 to 40 eligible artists and arts workers who live in the following zip codes: 10002, 10009, 10013. We will be capping the number of applications at 50 and evaluating the applications based on need and eligibility.

Once we have reached our maximum capacity of applications we will close the portal. Unfortunately, not every applicant will receive funding but we hope to reopen the portal when more relief funds become available. Applications will be evaluated based on need and eligibility. Applicants will be notified of their application status by Monday, May 11.

*Please note, if you received funding in the Round 1 of our Artist Community Relief Fund or from our Parent-Artist Relief Fund, you are not eligible to apply.

Please email Katherine Tom (they/them) at if you have any questions or concerns.

The Artist Community Relief Fund is supported in large part by the Robin Hood Foundation, the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Foundation, and the Sustainable Arts Foundation, as well as the generosity of individual donors committed to uplifting our artist communities during these stressful times. Abrons Arts Center wishes to extend our gratitude as we work to provide continued, much needed financial relief. If you would like to contribute to these efforts please click here. Every dollar donated will be distributed to artists in need.
