This exhibition presents work by Janelle and Lisa Iglesias, Florian Meisenberg, Brie Ruais, Kika Thorne, and Jonathan VanDyke that articulate the shape, contours, and texture of communion. These artists' works locate and measure proximities—both physical and conceptual—among bodies, and question current assumptions about pairings, alliances, fusions, and other co-existences.

Now and Then is a reading series featuring performance texts (and texts about performance) from the past in conversation with current writings. Curated and hosted by Sarah Maxfield, each event includes two writer/ readers sharing a recent work as well as an older piece.

Books are nominated by members who attend the meetings. Currently we are reading The Artist As Public Intellectual by Stephan Schmidt-Wulffen. Past selections include Ben Davis' 9.5 Thesis on Art and Class, David Joselit's After Art, Martha Rosler's Culture Class and Clair Bishop's Artificial Hells.
