Rachel Alban is a New York based photographer and arts educator. Since February 2013, Rachel has been documenting street art for Untapped Cities, an online publication about urban discovery and exploration. She authors original articles, photo essays, and interviews. Rachel’s photographs have been exhibited recently in the greater New York City area at The Fridge Art Fair, LIC Arts Walk, The Gold Coast Art Center in Great Neck, and in Brooklyn at Photoville and the PowerHouse Arena. And, throughout 2013, Rachel’s photo was exhibited in the Empire State Building’s 5th Avenue gallery. In addition to working on her photography, Rachel practices Art Therapy and Art Education. She graduated from School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Art Education and MPS in Art Therapy.
