Katrina Albright

Katrina Albright is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker with a BFA in Film and Television from NYU. Her narrative and documentary films have screened at festivals and programs nationwide. In 2010 she produced and co-directed, “The Fashion Show,” a documentary which screened at Recession Art’s Emerging Filmmakers Series in NYC. Katrina was a 2011 top-ten finalist for Cinereach’s Reach Film Fellowship for her documentary “Signs Following,” co-directed with visual artist Jonathan Durham. In 2012, Katrina’s script “Ethan and Ian” won Second Place Short in the Slamdance Screenwriting and Teleplay Competition. Katrina directed that film in 2013 (production title “Ethan and Eli,” Honorable Mention, “Short Grit Award,” Indie Grits Film Festival 2014, Official Selections, HollyShorts Film Festival 2014, Skyline Indie Film Fest, 2014, Oregon Independent Film Festival, 2014.) Her feature length script “Sherwood, GA” was a quarter finalist in the 2014 Slamdance Screenwriting Competition. She is also working on an original TV Pilot, and an untitled documentary in the Louisiana gulf.
